Caladiums are also known as 'Angel Wings' thanks to the shape of their leaves and their magnificent colors!
How does it work? 1) Soak the bulb in water for a few hours 2) Fill a medium size pot (15x15cm) with soil (mix with perlite for better rooting) 3) Plant half of the bulb into the soil, make sure to usethe correct side (the bulbous side should be facing upwards otherwise it might take a bit longer for the leaves to come out) 4) Start watering once a week 5) When the first stems have appeared (usually after a couple of weeks), you can plant the entire bulb 10cm into the soil 6) After the first leaves have appeared, keep the plant in a bright and warm position (no direct sunlight) and keep it slightly moist (water 1-2x per week)
Caladiums lose their leaves again during winter season, so you can cut out the bulb when all the leaves have fallen off and store it in a dry place until you can plant the bulb again next Spring. Now you can start enjoying this beautiful plant for many years to come!
Please note this is only the bulb, not a full grown plant.
